Hillcrest House is a former 19th Century coaching inn on the road to Dovedale. It was originally called the Dovedale Hotel and provided lodging, refreshments and a change of horses to coaches on their way. It is now run as a private family guest house by local couple Dan and Margaret Sutton who continue the traditions of yesteryear.With the most stunning views of the surrounding countryside, what better place to explore from. You can leave your car and set off on foot in any direction, on some of the most popular footpaths in the Peak District.There is a reception area, licensed residents lounge and dining room. All are tastefully furnished, in keeping with the character and atmosphere of this warm and friendly home. The lounge and bedrooms all have extensive views of the surrounding countryside.
